Job Summary
SME role in performing end-to-end Accounting and transfer agency activities in Private Equity; serves as a liaison between the Accounting Team and key stakeholders; acts as a primary reviewer and reviews activities within the business. Establishes and develops plans to meet goals, manages resources and work allocation, and maintains high standards of accuracy and timeliness. Coordinates with the onshore team on migrations and onboarding new transitions; supports system changes and strategic initiatives, develops requirements with business and technology teams, and formulates testing strategies and test plans (manual or automated). Analyzes procedures to identify opportunities for automation to reduce risk and improve efficiency; develops knowledge base across regions; trains and coaches new team members; provides QA checks on information from supporting functions; maintains fund transactions and journal reclassifications; handles client, audit, and internal queries; coordinates with internal and external counterparts to resolve discrepancies; maintains logs and records, and contributes to process development and productivity. Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills, liaises between technical and non-technical teams, and supports business development and special projects within Private Equity/fund accounting contexts.
Required Qualifications
- Master / Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 7 - 10 years of work experience in a Private Equity / Fund Accounting
