Job Summary
Power BI Consultant in Deloitte India leads the design, development and deployment of Power BI solutions within the Analytics & Cognitive practice. Responsible for building analytical models and dashboards, implementing row-level security, integrating Power BI reports with applications and services, and collaborating with process owners to translate business requirements into automated BI workflows. The role emphasizes delivering client-focused BI solutions, maintaining documentation, and upholding high performance and data governance standards while leveraging tools like Azure, SQL data warehouse, and related technologies to enable insight-driven decision making.
Required Qualifications
- Power BI development and administration
- Building Analysis Services reporting models
- Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop
- Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence
- Implementing row level security on data and understanding security layer models in Power BI
- Proficient in DAX queries in Power BI desktop
- Developing tabular and multidimensional models
- Publishing and scheduling Power BI reports
- Understanding business requirements and developing data models
- Prototyping and requirement analysis
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, PolyBase, Visual Studio
- Power BI embedded analytics via SaaS or API automation
