Job Summary
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in federal and state healthcare policy to translate changes into strategic recommendations for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. Develop expertise across Medicare Part B and Part D, the Inflation Reduction Act, Medicaid, and the 340B Drug Pricing Program while applying qualitative and quantitative analyses to address client business objectives. Manage day-to-day client relationships as a primary point of contact, presenting complex findings to senior executives and building long-term engagements. Lead project workstreams and teams, coordinating cross-functional collaboration and guiding Associates on deliverables to ensure high-quality output within budget and timeline constraints. Distill multi-faceted policy topics into clear, evidence-based narratives for client-ready reports and executive presentations. Incorporate data-driven approaches and AI-enabled tools to enhance project delivery and client impact.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Policy, Public Policy, Law, Public Health, Health Economics, Healthcare Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in healthcare consulting, pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies, health plans, advocacy organizations, government agencies, think tanks, or similar organizations
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. healthcare policy landscape and its commercial implications, particularly Medicare Part B and Part D, Medicare Drug Price Negotiation under the Inflation Reduction Act, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and the 340B Drug Pricing Program
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex policy analysis, research findings, and data into actionable business recommendations
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, including budgets, timelines, scope, and client expectations
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and executive audiences
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently with limited oversight
