Job Summary
Consultant Pediatric Surgeon to join a prestigious healthcare facility in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality surgical care to pediatric patients (neonates to adolescents), performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within pediatric surgery, daily ward rounds, multidisciplinary treatment planning, supervising junior staff and contributing to their training, maintaining accurate medical records, participating in departmental meetings and quality improvement, providing on-call coverage, upholding patient rights and safety, engaging in research and continuous medical education, and collaborating with other specialties for complex cases. Requirements include a medical degree, accredited residency and fellowship in Pediatric Surgery, board certification, a minimum of 7 years post-specialization experience (2+ years in a tertiary center), SCFHS licensing eligibility, and strong leadership and communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Completion of accredited residency and fellowship in Pediatric Surgery
- Board certification in Pediatric Surgery (e.g., American Board, Royal College, or equivalent)
- Minimum 7 years of experience post-specialization, with at least 2 years in a tertiary care center
- Eligibility for licensing with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
