Job Summary
Consultant Pediatric Neuro-Oncologist sought for a leading Abu Dhabi tertiary-care hospital. The role focuses on diagnosing and managing pediatric CNS tumors (e.g., medulloblastoma, ependymoma, gliomas, germ cell tumors, craniopharyngioma) and leading individualized treatment plans that may include chemotherapy, targeted therapies, immunotherapies, radiotherapy planning, and surgical coordination with pediatric neurosurgery. Responsibilities span inpatient/outpatient care, tumor boards participation, program leadership and development, protocol creation, collaboration across pediatrics, neurology, radiology, pathology, rehabilitation, mentorship of junior staff, and engagement in research, clinical trials, and academic contributions. Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills are required; fluency in English with Arabic an advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognized institution
- Board Certification in Pediatric Oncology/Hematology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, Arab Board, or equivalent)
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology from a recognized center
- Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialization experience, including consultant-level practice
