Job Summary
Provide rapid assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment of pediatric emergencies for infants, children, and adolescents within a multidisciplinary team. Manage pediatric resuscitation, trauma management, and emergency procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety. Maintain eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH Consultant License. Candidates must hold Western Board Certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or Emergency Medicine with a relevant fellowship, alongside a minimum of five years post-board certification experience. Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent)
- Western Board Certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or Emergency Medicine with Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (American Board, UK CCT, Canadian, Australian, Irish, or equivalent recognized qualification)
- Minimum 5 years of post-board certification experience as a Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician
- Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH Consultant License (or currently licensed in the UAE)
- Extensive experience in pediatric resuscitation, trauma management, and emergency procedures
- Excellent leadership, communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to evidence-based pediatric emergency care and patient safety
Desired Qualifications
- Current certifications such as PALS, APLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS
- Previous experience in a tertiary children's hospital or JCI-accredited healthcare facility
