Job Summary
Consultant Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to lead and provide expert critical care management in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU for neonates, infants, and children with congenital and acquired heart diseases, including pre‐ and post‐operative care, interventional cardiology cases, and complex cardiac emergencies. Responsibilities include leading PCICU rounds, coordinating multidisciplinary care, managing ECMO and advanced hemodynamic monitoring, interpreting echocardiography and other diagnostic data, on‐call coverage, clinical pathway development, mentorship of junior staff, coordinating family discussions, and participating in research, teaching, and CME activities.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognized institution
- Board Certification in Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatric Cardiology, or Pediatric Anesthesiology with fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care
- Minimum 8–10 years of post‐specialization experience, including consultant‐level practice in a high‐volume cardiac center
- Eligibility for Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Consultant licensure
- Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
