Job Summary
Provide specialist orthopaedic services for inpatient and outpatient care, performing elective and emergency orthopaedic procedures. Participate in ward rounds, clinics, theatre sessions, and on-call services. Contribute to service development, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives. Subspecialty exposure in arthroplasty and sports knee surgery within a modern regional hospital, with opportunities for teaching, trainee supervision, clinical governance, and research involvement.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Orthopaedics or equivalent specialist qualification
- Eligibility for specialist registration with AHPRA
- Experience in elective and trauma orthopaedic surgery
- Strong clinical leadership and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
