Job Summary
Consultant or Senior Consultant in State and Local Government based in Philadelphia, PA. You will be part of one or more project delivery teams, contributing as an individual contributor or workstream leader, supporting state and local agencies to improve operations and meet missions. Responsibilities include translating strategy into action for PA, Philadelphia, and Delaware, supporting business development (RFP responses, proposals, client presentations, account planning), and delivering client-ready outputs. Ideal candidates possess strong analytical capabilities, experience guiding analytics and decision-making, and the ability to travel up to 50% as needed. A Bachelor’s degree is required; 3+ years (senior) or 1+ years (consultant) of relevant experience, plus excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and mentor others.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University
- Minimum of 1+ years of overall work experience for a consultant and Minimum of 3+ years overall work experience for a senior consultant
- Ability to work independently but with oversight from management, typically in person 2-3 days per week
- Experience in managing components of projects, ownership of workstreams and/or analytics and supervising, coaching or mentoring others in daily tasks
- Analytical skills and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to grasp and communicate business implications of technically complex products and services
- Travel willingness within Pennsylvania and Delaware, and at times outside the states
- Residence within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA
