Job Summary
Consultant Ophthalmologist (Reconstructive) provides expert diagnosis and management of complex ophthalmic and periocular disorders requiring reconstructive and oculoplastic intervention; performs eyelid, lacrimal, and orbital reconstructive surgeries; collaborates with multidisciplinary teams; maintains detailed records in line with DOH regulations; contributes to quality improvement, research, and education; engages in patient/family counseling and comprehensive ophthalmology services.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi
- Board Certification / Fellowship in Ophthalmology with subspecialty training in Oculoplastic/Reconstructive Ophthalmology
- Valid DOH Consultant License or Eligibility Letter in Ophthalmology
- Minimum 5–7 years of post-specialist experience in reconstructive ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery
