Consultant Ophthalmologist (Glaucoma) - Abu Dhabi

Job Summary
Consultant Ophthalmologist (Glaucoma) sought to diagnose and manage all glaucoma-related conditions, perform comprehensive glaucoma evaluations (visual field analysis, OCT, gonioscopy, intraocular pressure assessment), and provide medical, laser, and surgical treatments including trabeculectomy, glaucoma drainage devices, MIGS, and laser therapies. Will manage complex cases, collaborate with multidisciplinary ophthalmology teams, maintain DOH-compliant records, participate in clinical audits and CME, and educate patients and families on disease management and follow-up. Requires MBBS or equivalent, DOH Fellowship in Glaucoma, DOH consultant license or eligibility, and 5–7 years post-specialist experience; advantageous to have experience in tertiary/academic settings and MIGS exposure. Required Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi
- Board Certification / Fellowship in Ophthalmology with subspecialty training in Glaucoma
- Valid DOH Consultant License or Eligibility Letter in Ophthalmology
- Minimum 5–7 years of post-specialist experience in glaucoma management and surgery
- Expertise in advanced glaucoma diagnostics and surgical procedures
