Job Summary
Lead and deliver client-facing occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, and OSHA compliance services across diverse sectors (manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, extractives, energy, construction, transportation, telecoms, and services). Manage the design and execution of safety programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 45001), perform audits and risk/exposure assessments, implement corrective actions to meet federal/state/local regulations, conduct incident investigations and CAPA, and contribute to ongoing improvement of health and safety performance. Travel to client sites as needed; develop written safety policies and programs; mentor teams and steward client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in safety, industrial hygiene, occupational health, or a closely related discipline, with at least 2 years of experience in occupational health and safety management, OSHA compliance, health and safety audits, safety program development, and demonstrated knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, worker health protection, and industry best practices.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certifications, or on path to achieving certification, highly desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering presentations as well as writing comprehensive technical reports and standards. This also includes strong Microsoft Office skills with an advanced understanding of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word desired.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting deadlines, and traveling to client locations as needed.
