Job Summary
Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist sought to provide specialist O&G services at Central Gippsland Health Sale with outreach as required. Lead junior medical staff, midwives and nurses; contribute to continuing education, peer review and governance; lead development of a woman-centred maternity model of care; manage obstetric and gynaecological inpatients, antenatal clinic and ED, and support maternity services planning in alignment with guidelines. Requires Primary medical qualification and registration, Fellowship of RANZCOG (or verification of suitability), Police Check and Working with Children Check, and compliance with immunisation policies.
Required Qualifications
- Primary medical qualification registered or registrable with the Medical Board of Australia
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (or assessment by the college that the position holder is suitable for the position)
- Police Record Check prior to finalisation of appointment (and updated every three years)
- Mandatory Working with Children Check
- Compliance with Employee Health Screening and Immunisation Policy (including evidence of mandatory immunisations/vaccinations)
