Job Summary
Deliver high-quality clinical care for patients with neurological disease, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Manage medical inpatients and acute presentations, covering colleagues during annual leave and out-of-hours on-call rotations. Interpret diagnostic tests, contribute to service development for stroke and cognitive impairment, and participate in medical audit and clinical quality improvement. Fulfill weekly timetables, complete mandatory training updates, and ensure data quality compliance with hospital policies. Maintain the highest clinical standards while cooperating with colleagues to support the proper functioning of the department.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognised institution
- Completion of a specialist training programme in neurology
- A minimum of 5 years post-residency practice experience in busy neurology settings
- Must be eligible for medical registration in the Cayman Islands
- Registration, without additional examinations, is available for applicants who have completed specialist training and are registered in Australia, Canada, Jamaica, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK, or the USA
