Job Summary
Experienced model audit professional sought to lead model audit assignments for complex financial models. You will analyse and review models for arithmetic and commercial correctness, identify modelling errors using software checks and parallel development, review commercial documentation, and ensure alignment with assumptions. You will own projects, contribute to methodologies and tools for continuous improvement, prepare comprehensive model documentation, and maintain rigorous records. Responsibilities also include training and mentoring junior team members, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating findings to clients and internal stakeholders, as well as supporting client pitches and maintaining client relationships. The role requires 2-4 years in a financial advisory or corporate setting, a numerate degree (Masters beneficial), familiarity with Project Finance concepts, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work in a remote-team environment with flexibility for office/client-site work.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in a financial role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting
- Good appreciation of accounting concepts; accounting qualification beneficial
- Sound understanding of Project Finance concepts
- Strong analytical skills with a foundation in building and operating financial models using Excel
- Degree qualified in a numerate discipline; postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial
- Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
