Job Summary
Consultant Microbiologist to provide clinical leadership within Medical Microbiology at a public healthcare network in Singapore. Lead development of laboratory protocols, workflows, and quality systems; support laboratory accreditation; participate in Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) and Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) programmes; provide specialist microbiology advice to clinicians; contribute to education, training, supervision of junior staff; participate in research, audit, and service development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Specialist qualification in Microbiology / Pathology (FRCPath, FRCPA or equivalent)
- Eligible for Specialist Registration with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
- Minimum 3 years’ post-specialist experience
- Experience in clinical microbiology and laboratory leadership
