Job Summary
McDonald’s has an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Facilitator for the US Market based in the Mexico Global Business Services Office. You will act as a strategic partner and advisor to learners and stakeholders, facilitating best-in-class virtual learning programs for a variety of roles, serving as the SME for training and learning, and overseeing the delivery and management of virtual training classes for McOpCo and Franchisee employees in the US. Responsibilities include delivering engaging virtual training, adapting sessions in real-time, partnering with L&D stakeholders to ensure programs meet training needs and brand standards, and using assessments and performance metrics to refine programs. Role will be hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days work from home, located in the Mexico City area. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2–4+ years of adult education/facilitation experience, 2+ years in customer service/hospitality, strong communication and group-management skills, fluency in Spanish and English (ILR 4), and ability to use digital tools for virtual facilitation; BA/BS degree preferred; passport and US visa are nice to have. The position focuses on delivering US-market virtual learning programs and partnering with global L&D teams to drive employee development and program effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 4+ years of adult education/facilitation experience
- 2+ years of experience working in a customer service and/or hospitality environment
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Proficient in group management techniques and conflict resolution
- Ability to use digital tools for virtual facilitation
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal) ILR Level 4
- Valid and active Passport and US Visa are nice to have
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Operational expertise in QSR, restaurant industry and/or hospitality preferred
- Consulting experience a plus
- Experience working in an ambiguous, ever-changing environment
- Strong work ethic, business sense, and a self-starter
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
