Job Summary
Consultant Interventional Neuroradiologist to lead neuro‐interventional service in Abu Dhabi with responsibilities including mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling and flow‐diversion, AVM/AVF embolization, tumor embolization, carotid and intracranial stenting, spinal vascular interventions, interpretation of advanced neuro‐imaging studies (CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, DSA), inpatient and outpatient consultations for complex neurovascular conditions, 24/7 on‐call coverage, collaboration with neurology, neurosurgery, critical care, and emergency medicine teams, contribution to strategic development of the neuro‐interventional service, development and update of clinical pathways, protocols, and quality‐improvement initiatives, participation in multidisciplinary stroke and neurovascular boards, and mentorship of junior radiologists, fellows, and technologists.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognized institution
- Board Certification in Radiology (American Board, Royal College, Arab Board, or equivalent)
- Fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology / Endovascular Neurosurgery
- Minimum 8–10 years of post‐specialization experience, including consultant‐level practice
- Eligibility for Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH/HAAD) Consultant licensure
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced neuro‐interventional and stroke procedures
- Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
