Job Summary
Deliver consultant-level specialist care in paediatric otolaryngology through outpatient clinics, theatre sessions, and inpatient management. Perform a range of paediatric ENT procedures, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and supervise junior doctors and team members. Support the development of paediatric ENT pathways, engage in clinical governance and audit, and contribute to teaching and educational programmes. Undertake Supporting Professional Activities including CPD, appraisal, and service development while participating in the ENT on-call rota. Join a collaborative multidisciplinary team to shape and expand paediatric ENT services within the region.
Required Qualifications
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with licence to practise
- Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register in Otolaryngology (ENT)
- Evidence of subspecialty experience or fellowship training in Paediatric Otolaryngology
- Competence in core ENT procedures with a paediatric focus
- Experience working at Consultant level within ENT services
- Eligibility to work in the UK
