Job Summary
Consultant in Learning Disabilities Psychiatry to work full-time on a locum short-term contract in NHS settings (Aberdeen, Scotland, and Turnford, Hertfordshire, UK). Lead multidisciplinary teams, conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of adults with learning disabilities, and formulate individualized treatment plans. Oversee therapeutic interventions including medication management and crisis interventions; monitor and adjust care plans; contribute to risk assessments and management strategies to ensure safety and well-being. Requires Full GMC registration with licence to practise, Section 12 approval, Specialist Register (CCT), and prior experience in a similar role.
