Job Summary
Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry needed for NHS client in Maidstone, Kent. Full-time locum contract. Responsible for clinical assessments and diagnoses of children/adolescents with complex mental health issues, leading development of comprehensive treatment plans and therapeutic interventions, overseeing multidisciplinary teams, supervising and mentoring junior staff, contributing to MDT meetings, and participating in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- full GMC licence to practice
- Previous experience in CAMHS
- Section 12/RC approval is essential
- Approved clinician status is desired but not essential
