Job Summary
Diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients with cardiovascular disease while maintaining the highest clinical standards. Deliver high-quality care by interpreting diagnostic tests, covering colleagues during annual leave, and fulfilling weekly timetables including out-of-hours responsibilities on the Consultant rota. Provide a cardiology service focused on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illness, actively participating in medical audit, clinical quality improvement, and continuing professional development. Ensure data quality compliance with hospital policies and complete annual updates in mandatory training.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognised institution
- Completion of a specialist training programme in cardiology or interventional cardiology
- A minimum of 5 years post-residency practice experience in busy cardiology settings
- Eligible for medical registration in the Cayman Islands
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in diagnostic and/or therapeutic interventions
- Substantial experience in device implantation
