Consultant ICU / Critical Care Medicine – Sharjah

Highly qualified Consultant ICU / Critical Care Medicine to provide expert care for critically ill adults in the ICU at a leading healthcare facility in Sharjah/UAE. Responsibilities include assessing and managing critically ill patients, providing advanced life support, performing procedures (intubation, central venous catheter insertion, arterial line placement, bronchoscopy, ventilator management), leading ICU rounds, collaborating with emergency medicine, anesthesiology, surgery, pulmonology, cardiology, and other specialties, supervising junior staff, ensuring protocol compliance and patient safety, participating in rapid response, code blue activities, and disaster preparedness, and engaging in documentation, research, quality improvement, audits, and CME. Requires MBBS or equivalent, Board Certification/Fellowship in Critical Care, MOH UAE Consultant License or eligibility, 5–7 years post-board ICU experience, ACLS certification preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills.
