Job Summary
Conduct workshops with customers to analyze requirements, document business processes, and design Energy Components solutions supporting the value chain from reservoir to revenue recognition. Implement and configure software solutions, perform testing and verification against business process requirements, and provide technical and functional support to clients. Deliver requirement specifications, software development, configuration, infrastructure setup including cloud-based solutions, and customer training. This role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Petroleum Technology, or similar, with 1-5 years of IT experience and documented knowledge in database modelling and object-oriented programming. The position is full-time in Stavanger, Norway, under a hybrid work model. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master's degree within Computer Science / Information Technology / Petroleum Technology / or similar
- 1-5 years of work experience from IT
- Documented knowledge/experience in database modelling and programming, preferably Oracle PL/SQL
- Documented knowledge/experience in object-oriented programming, preferably Java backend
- Knowledge in business process modelling and requirement analysis
- Good oral and written communication skills, both in Norwegian/Scandinavian and English
- Solution oriented and flexible with high work capacity
- Have a strong sense of ownership, self-driven and ambitious
- Proactive and have a strong desire to learn and adapt new skills, tools, and technologies
- Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with stakeholders on all levels
- Have a positive attitude

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge in Oil & Gas value chain, from reservoir to revenue recognition
- Cloud Services – Azure and Amazon Web Services
- Containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Docker Swarm, OpenShift)
- Bitbucket, GitHub
- Web Container – WildFly,
- REST API's
- PowerBI or similar business analytics tool
