Job Summary
Senior Consultant Breast/Oncoplastic Surgeon leading a comprehensive breast service in a multidisciplinary, patient-centred environment in Dubai. Responsibilities include comprehensive management of benign and malignant breast disease, advanced oncoplastic breast surgery (therapeutic mammoplasty, volume displacement/replacement, implant-based and autologous reconstruction), active MDT participation, outpatient clinics, perioperative care, long-term follow-up, clinical governance and quality improvement, and teaching, mentorship, research, and service development. Requires board-certification with fellowship in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, 7–10 years post-board experience in breast oncology and reconstruction, DHA licensure eligibility, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified Consultant Breast/Oncoplastic or General Surgeon with fellowship training in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery
- Minimum 7–10 years post-board certification experience in breast oncology and reconstruction
- Eligibility for DHA Consultant licensure
- Proven expertise in advanced oncoplastic techniques including immediate reconstruction and symmetrisation
- Experience in accredited breast units with strong MDT involvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suited to diverse patient populations
