Job Summary

Environmental Consultant responsible for conducting Phase I ESAs and limited environmental compliance reviews for industrial facilities and facilities with long histories, supporting mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions. Responsibilities include document review, facility visits, interviewing management/site personnel, compiling Phase I and regulatory compliance reports, and assisting with ESG/sustainability improvements. Travel to sites local and non-local. Contributes to proposals, cost estimates, and mentorship of junior team members. Requires a B.S. in a relevant field; experience with SPCC/SWPPP and ASTM standards is a plus; ability to work in a hybrid environment across the Midwest region.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum B.S. degree in engineering (civil, environmental, chemical) or B.S./B.A. in environmental science, geology, chemistry, physics, or biology
  • Preferred 2+ years environmental consulting experience including Phase I ESAs and environmental compliance reviews
  • Ability to travel (local and non-local)
  • Driver’s license and ability to travel by air
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced transactional environment
