Job Summary
Own day-to-day client relationships and lead initiatives that improve how the team serves Private Equity-owned clients. Serve as a go-to resource for Associate Consultants by developing strong relationships with vendor and carrier partners, including leading carrier negotiations when needed. Develop and manage short- and long-term benefits strategies, analyzing benchmark data to translate insights into clear recommendations for client plans. Coordinate project plans, manage renewal and implementation processes, and ensure post-implementation activities confirm solutions are working as intended. Travel to client sites up to 20% of the time to support these efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years in insurance industry experience
- thorough understanding of all benefit plans (medical, dental, life, STD, LTD, etc)
- design, rate structures, funding alternatives and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- advanced writing skills
- Proficient in all areas of Health & Welfare compliance (i.e. HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, 5500, DOL, etc)
- Life Accident & Health Licensure
- commitment to achieving Life Accident & Health Licensure within 3 months of start date
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of internal staff & management, external clients, prospects and vendors

- Travel to client sites up to 20% of the time
