Consultant Employee Experience

Job Summary
The Employee Experience Consultant provides advice, interpretation, coaching, and guidance on employee relations, employment law, complaints, investigations, performance management, attendance programs, and HR policy interpretation to managers and staff. The role supports compliance with provincial legislation and collective bargaining agreements, drafts correspondence and reports, champions Employee Engagement surveys, and participates in special HR projects and workshops. Requires strong relationship management, conflict resolution, and communication skills, with experience in a multi-union environment and travel within the assigned platform (Mississauga, Ontario). Bilingual (English/French) is an asset; CHRP is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience as a generalist with focused experience in employee/labour relations
- Professional knowledge and experience in seniors housing industry preferred
- Post-Secondary Education or Diploma in Human Resources Management
- CHRP certification is an asset
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset (Quebec – Mandatory)
- Ability to align with Chartwell’s vision and values
- Strong communication skills (written, oral, and presentation)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with investigations and dispute resolution
- Knowledge of employment legislation and collective bargaining agreements
- Travel within assigned business platform
- Satisfactory reference check and criminal record check
