Consultant Emergency Medicine (HOD Experience) - Dubai

Senior Consultant in Emergency Medicine with proven Head of Department leadership to lead and manage the Emergency Medicine Department in a Dubai-based hospital. Responsibilities include overseeing clinical care across all ages, supervising advanced emergency procedures (airway management, trauma resuscitation, cardiac emergencies, critical care stabilization), developing and enforcing policies and protocols, staffing and performance management of medical and nursing teams, mentoring junior doctors and allied professionals, collaborating with hospital leadership, leading audits and quality-improvement initiatives, and representing the department in committees and external forums. Requires a medical degree with specialization in Emergency Medicine, board certification, 10–15+ years post-specialization including senior leadership experience, DHA licensing eligibility, strong leadership and communication skills, trauma/resuscitation expertise, and English fluency (Arabic advantageous).
