Job Summary
Lead the multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive emergency services and promote patient quality and safety within the department. Provide leadership, management, training, supervision, and education for Senior Medical Practitioners in collaboration with the Director Emergency Medicine and the Medical Administrator. This Fixed Term Full Time role (80 hours per week) offers a salary of $375,863 - $477,340 p.a., inclusive of superannuation and professional development allowance. The position is located at a hospital two hours from Perth in Western Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine or equivalent
- Substantial postgraduate medical experience in general medicine, general practice and/or emergency medicine
- FACEM Qualification
- Specialist registration with AHPRA - Emergency Medicine
