Job Summary
Map prospect studios' end-to-end animation pipelines, quantifying stage-specific effort and outsourcing arrangements to build defensible, studio-specific savings models for Ember's AI-driven production outcomes. Lead technical sales by delivering demos, scoping pilot projects, and converting measured pilot results into commercial business cases that anchor pricing. Channel field insights on feature gaps and pipeline realities directly to the Ember product team to inform the roadmap, while developing reusable frameworks like effort benchmarks and ROI calculators to scale this value-assessment methodology across the enterprise.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in 2D animation production
- Experience in a role with pipeline-wide visibility — line producer, production manager, pipeline TD/supervisor, animation director, or studio operations lead
- Working fluency across the full production pipeline, from preproduction through cut-out animation, colouring, and in-betweening
- Experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting, value engineering, or client-facing production scoping
- Clear evidence that you can build a business case and present it to executives
- Ability to build and defend an effort/cost model in a spreadsheet
- Comfortable presenting to a room that includes both a supervising animator and a CFO
- Candidates based in the Montreal area, with 2 days per week in the office, or candidates based in the Toronto area who work fully remotely
Desired Qualifications
- Toon Boom Harmony fluency
- Deep familiarity with equivalent production tools
