Job Summary
Consultant Dietitian/Dietetic Technician position in Athens, OH providing consulting nutrition services to skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and group homes. Responsibilities include promoting resident-centered nutritional wellbeing, ensuring regulatory compliance and clinical best practices, care planning aligned with MDS Section K and PDPM, and proficient use of EMR systems. Requires RDN or eligible status with state licensure/certification or ACEND-dietetics program completion (associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree acceptable); registration with CDR preferred. Flexible scheduling with no evenings or weekends for full-time/part-time/PRN/contract arrangements, independent work with support from a collaborative team, ongoing professional development, and reimbursement of licensing/credentialing where provided.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian or eligible (state licensure/certification required)
- ACEND-accredited dietetic technician program with associate's degree OR ACEND-accredited program and bachelor’s degree
- registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration preferred
- ability to work independently while collaborating with facility teams
- familiarity with MDS Section K and PDPM; use of EMR systems
