Job Summary
Collaborate with facility care teams to promote nutritional well-being while upholding regulatory standards and clinical best practices across Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Communities, and Group Homes. Build trust with residents and staff, manage care planning, MDS Section K, and PDPM, and utilize EMR systems to document clinical nutrition strategies. Work independently with strong time management skills to solve problems and support resident-centered care. This full-time or part-time consulting role in Sandusky, OH offers flexible scheduling without evenings or weekends, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching. Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (or eligible) and licensed/certified per state requirements
- completed an ACEND dietetic technician program and earned an associate's degree at a U.S. regionally accredited college or university
- completed an ACEND-accredited didactic program or coordinated program in dietetics and earned a bachelor's degree at a U.S. regionally accredited college or university
- registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Build trust and rapport with residents and facility staff
- Communicate effectively and solve problems with confidence
- Have strong time management, documentation, and organizational skills
- Understand clinical nutrition, care planning, MDS Section K, and PDPM
- Feel comfortable using EMR systems and basic tech tools
- work independently
