Consultant - Data Analytics Specialist & Improvement

Job Summary
Manage and implement process improvement initiatives by coordinating activities within client organizations, mapping business processes, and leading change management efforts. Develop focused solutions through UML modeling, requirements gathering, and flow design to identify process improvement needs. Design artifacts including process maps, standard work instructions, and aids while overseeing the implementation of recommendations with client leadership. Mentor team members on business process engineering, Lean methodologies, and Toyota Production System principles. Develop Key Performance Indicators, track metrics, and analyze process performance to guide decision-making. Engage remotely with up to 25% office presence or travel to clients.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in technical field with two years of professional experience, or Graduate Degree, or equivalent in combination of education and/or experience
- Strong skills in presentation, word processing, and spreadsheet applications
- Demonstrated success in analysis driven problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and influence without authority
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive materials and information
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with client personnel
- Expertise in data analytics, data presentation, and KPI/dashboard development
- UML modeling experience including Structural Modeling (Classes diagrams, Objects diagrams, Deployment diagrams, Package diagrams, Composite structure diagram, Component diagram), Behavioral Modeling (Activity diagrams, Interaction diagrams, Use case diagrams), and Architectural Modeling (Package diagram)
- Experience with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and SDLC (System Development Life-cycle) processes
- Understanding of tools and techniques required to effectively develop or improve business processes
- Prior experience in Lean, Visual Controls, Toyota Production System, or process design, and re-engineering
- Knowledge of utility, or construction, or healthcare industry
- Knowledge of process modeling and process diagramming software and tools
- Previous experience with OPPM - Oracle Primavera Portfolio Management
- Previous experience with Oracle Primavera Unifier - Capital Program Management
- Previous experience with Oracle Primavera P6 - Planning and Scheduling
- Previous experience with Ecosys - Enterprise Project Performance
- Previous experience with Sage Financial Management Software
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and SDLC (System Development Life-cycle) processes preferred
- Understanding of tools and techniques required to effectively develop or improve business processes. Demonstrated knowledge and experience using process improvement tools and techniques to drive organizational change
- Prior experience in Lean, Visual Controls, Toyota Production System, or process design, and re-engineering strongly desired
- Knowledge of utility, or construction, or healthcare industry preferred
- Knowledge of process modeling and process diagramming software and tools
- It is desirable, although not essential, that the Consultant has previous experience with one or more of the following Enterprise Systems: OPPM - Oracle Primavera Portfolio Management, Oracle Primavera Unifier - Capital Program Management, Oracle Primavera P6 - Planning and Scheduling, Ecosys - Enterprise Project Performance, Sage Financial Management Software
