Execute high-quality Wealth Compliance examinations across CIBC Asset Management and Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization dealer activities, assessing the design adequacy and operating effectiveness of processes that mitigate regulatory and operational risk. Support remediation and validation of deficiencies identified through the CEEP program by reviewing action plans and confirming effective addressing of issues. Stay current on changes in the wealth management regulatory landscape, including CSA national instruments and CIRO rules, to provide guidance on requirements, best practices, and internal policies. Communicate examination observations and compliance findings with internal partners across Governance, Legal, Risk, and Operations while developing strong partnerships to strengthen a regulatory compliance culture. Report to the Director, Regulatory Compliance Testing and contribute to continuous improvement across the examination program within a hybrid work arrangement of 1-3 days on-site.
