Job Summary
Consultant to support internal government agency communications; responsibilities include translating business priorities into clear, concise messaging and delivering communications that keep employees informed and engaged. Focus areas include content development, coordination, and execution of communications activities, and building foundational skills in strategic communications and stakeholder engagement. Key duties: support communication planning and execution; develop internal materials (emails, newsletters, briefing notes) aligned with CFO priorities; draft/edit clear content for diverse audiences; coordinate timelines and deliverables across teams; coordinate end-to-end virtual meetings for CFO leadership (scheduling, materials prep, facilitation support, follow-up); provide graphic design support (slides, infographics, newsletters) aligned with organizational branding; engage with stakeholders to clarify messaging; ensure consistency with guidelines and branding; support measurement of engagement and opportunities for improvement. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in writing/communications/business/... and 1-3 years of related experience; strong written/verbal communication; ability to manage multiple tasks; basic project coordination; collaborative mindset; proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to obtain Public Trust clearance (US citizenship required). Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in writing, communications, business, health, science, liberal arts or sciences
- Minimum 1-3 years of professional experience in a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic project coordination skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from team members
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with email communications or digital platforms is a plus
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (i.e. US citizenship required)
