Job Summary
Support the delivery of client projects in the pharmaceutical and medical device space in Canada, including market access initiatives, retrospective database studies, health economic analyses, and patient journey mapping. Contribute to study design and methodology development while assisting in protocol preparation and report drafting. Analyze qualitative and quantitative real-world data to prepare presentations, abstracts, and manuscripts for scientific conferences and journals. Conduct primary and secondary research, facilitate workshops, and moderate discussions with external clients. Manage overall project execution, client relationships, and proposal drafting based on client RFPs. Work directly with IQVIA departments and stakeholders across Canada and globally.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years' experience undertaking database or health outcomes research, or in the pharmaceutical industry in a relevant area such as business analytics, marketing, market access, epidemiology, pharmacovigilance, outcomes research, health economics, RWE/RWD or biostatistics
- PhD/Masters/MBA in relevant health sciences field
- Healthcare Consultancy, Pharmaceutical or other Healthcare Industry, Academic or Governmental Research Organization, Health Services Research setting
- Good understanding of the pharmaceutical reimbursement process in Canada
- Conducting analyses in databases and/or registries
- Good understanding of outcomes research theory, and practical knowledge of research project implementation
- Competency in using MS tools (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Experience in programming Visual Basic for Applications within Excel
- Experience with statistical software (SAS, SPSS, R)
- Functional knowledge of English, both written and spoken
Desired Qualifications
- Good understanding of the pharmaceutical reimbursement process in Canada is a plus
