Job Summary
Consultant, Business Solutions provides tax automation services to Fortune 1000 clients through detailed requirements analysis, process design, configuration, installation and implementation of tax automation business and system processes for enterprise applications; collaborates with a team to identify tax savings opportunities and to understand client tax computations. Responsibilities include creating and editing client deliverable documentation, data gathering and analysis, acquiring client data to support tax technology deployments, and traveling to client locations to collect data and documentation. Responsibilities also cover testing scenarios, researching issues, and using spreadsheets, relational databases, word processing software, and programming tools to format reports and support day-to-day project management. Strong emphasis on developing new process designs for tax determination, documenting business and system processes, and delivering effective client solutions. Education and experience requirements emphasize a Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years’ audit or tax experience with proficiency in MS Office applications; travel up to 30–40% is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Business Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related study
- One to three years audit or tax related experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
