Job Summary
Conduct anaesthetic services across diverse case mixes including elective, emergency, obstetric, paediatric, orthopaedic, and ENT procedures in regional and coastal settings. Lead quality improvement projects, teach trainees, and contribute to audits while expanding subspecialty interests such as chronic pain or ICU. Manage patient care in hospitals linked to ANZCA training accreditation with support for teaching, leadership, and governance. Eligibility requires Fellowship of ANZCA or UK equivalents (FRCA + CCT) for expedited specialist registration via the AHPRA pathway. Total packages range from AUD $400,000 to over $700,000, inclusive of private practice, with relocation assistance, rural incentives, and generous allowances. Required Qualifications
- Fellowship of ANZCA (FANZCA), or UK equivalents (FRCA + CCT) eligible for the expedited specialist pathway
- Specialist registration eligibility with the Medical Board of Australia

- Willingness to engage in teaching, leadership, and governance
- UK FRCA + CCT or ANZCA Fellowship
