Job Summary
Develop new products and strategies to market smoothly and efficiently while implementing complex technology assets to create new business as usual. Strengthen client internal skills in critical areas and transform client processes to optimize management practices. Support senior project team members by analyzing business processes, identifying improvement areas, and developing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity. Own delegated tasks, manage timelines and quality, and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and document business process models. Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and executives, while supporting development teams to configure platforms and create solutions. Participate in testing and validating new systems to meet business requirements, utilizing data analysis tools and business intelligence software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- Fluent local office language and English
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Experience in acquiring, merchant acceptance, payment optimization, or card scheme consulting
- Knowledge of authorization optimization, interchange economics, scheme fee structures, fraud management, or merchant acquiring operations
- Experience working with payment processors, acquirers, PSPs, or card networks
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, knowledge of Project Management tools preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL
- Knowledge of API orchestration
- Experience with Agile ways of working and / or as a scrum master
- Exposure specifically in payments and / or retail banking or merchants
- Other languages
- Knowledge of data architecture, database management, and experienced with a wide array of data analytics tools and technologies
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Visio, JIRA and Confluence
