Job Summary
Review project plans, specifications, and documentation to develop detailed cost estimates through quantity take-offs and labor, material, and equipment pricing. Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs, provide technical guidance during presentations, and present estimates while addressing concerns. Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing, coordinate scope confirmations, and stay informed on market trends and competitor offerings. Assist in negotiating contracts, follow up on bids to close sales, and gather feedback for future estimates. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of construction estimation experience, and proficiency in Bluebeam or PlanSwift.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction estimation
- Proven experience in generating and closing sales within the construction industry
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift) and CRM tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
