Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and execute individual MCIS and simulation ("puckster") training from squad to corps echelons. Perform classroom setup, system networking, and instruction on mission command information systems following approved Army Programs of Instruction. Provide individual MCIS training to ensure 90% student completion and certification while teaching simulation functionality and operations to unit personnel. Operate simulation systems during exercise execution as needed. Requires a Bachelor's degree or five years of experience, five years of Army service, and three years of IT or MCIS teaching experience. Maintain an Active SECRET Security Clearance. Support hours align with Government customer core work hours, with 33-50% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (associated discipline) or 5 yrs. experience in IS development, training, or related fields
- 5 yrs. service in, or support to, the Army or other national defense service
- 3 yrs. experience developing and providing IT or 3 yrs. MCIS teaching experience (JLCCTC, WARSIM, C2WSPTT, and other systems as required)
- Experience with scenario development and performing analytical assessments of systems
- Knowledge, understanding, and experience using the JELC process; experience providing operator and functional training
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Successful experience working in a team environment
- Active SECRET Security Clearance
- Travel Required: 33-50%
