Job Summary
Entry-level Construction Worker I assists Construction Worker II with setup, cleanup, and basic job-site support; takes direction from the Lead and Supervisors, delivers materials to sites, prepares jobsites, and documents progress when Leads are unavailable. Performs or observes framing, drywall, painting, and carpentry tasks under supervision, develops trade skills through training, and adheres to OSHA safety protocols and PPE requirements. Requires basic knowledge of power tools, ability to operate equipment, English fluency, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel to job sites; compensation is hourly ($22.62-$26.02) with standard safety and field-work conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in construction environment (cleanup, setup, tool storage, etc.)
- Possession of valid Class C driver’s license
- OSHA 10 training and CPR training preferred
- Basic knowledge and experience with machinery and power tools
- Fluent in English
- Ability to provide own transportation and basic hand tools
- The role requires lifting up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Must adhere to safety regulations (OSHA, EPA) and wear PPE as required
