Job Summary
Assist in the installation of sheeting materials, including subfloors, wall sheeting, and roofing sheeting, while gathering materials and installing small finishing items. Perform the assembly of modular building components, including floors, walls, roofs, doors, windows, trim, and millwork. Pre-assembly of components and read blueprints to ensure work tasks follow safety procedures and company policies. Use hand and power tools safely while lifting 55lbs unassisted and 35lbs overhead. Stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods during the Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift at our Grimsby, Ontario manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- Residential carpentry experience
- Basic communication skills
- Ability to lift 55lbs unassisted
- Capability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time
- Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day shift
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with the assembly of modular units
