Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse operations across the Southern California region from Carlsbad, CA; supervise warehouse staff; manage inventory, delivery scheduling, and procurement of materials, tools, and consumables to support construction projects; implement standardized warehouse procedures; collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to prioritize deliveries; ensure OSHA compliance and safety; maintain inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and reporting; identify shortages, overstock, and cost-saving opportunities; travel between warehouse and job-site locations as needed; note that responsibilities may evolve with business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, or inventory management (construction industry preferred)
- Experience managing multiple locations or teams is highly desirable
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of accountability and attention to detail
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with construction tools and materials preferred
