Job Summary
Lead the design and engineering of UPW (ultra-pure water) and wastewater systems for semiconductor manufacturing facilities, review technical specifications and drawings, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, oversee installation and commissioning, monitor performance, and develop strategies for water recycling. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering and a minimum of 6 years’ experience in UPW/wastewater systems (3+ years in wastewater treatment), with proficiency in water treatment design software, strong leadership, and project-management capabilities. The role involves office planning and on-site execution with extended hours as needed, and is based in Singapore for Micron Technology’s Singapore operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in UPW and wastewater systems, with at least 3 years in a Waste water treatment role, preferably within semiconductor or high-tech industrial construction
- Skills: Proficiency in water treatment design software and tools, strong leadership and project management skills, and a deep understanding of semiconductor water quality requirements
