Job Summary
Monitor subcontractor performance regarding quality and safety while developing standards for acceptable work across various trades. Perform quantity takeoffs, read bid documents, and interpret standard specifications to identify ambiguities. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids, maintain record documents, and manage submittal and RFI logs to impact project schedules. Review shop drawings for conformance with contract documents and coordinate with other trades. Administer assigned subcontracts, track change orders, and prepare proposals. Assist in project close-out as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field
- Two to three years of experience in a similar field
- Ability to develop relationships with owners, design team, and subcontractors
- Self-motivated, problem-solver, strong work-ethic
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A strong passion for technology systems, construction management, and the industry is essential
- Must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis
