Job Summary
Operate walk-behind saws for cutting asphalt and concrete, perform digging and backfilling to prepare construction sites, and utilize power tools like drills, mixers, and blowers. Load and unload materials requiring a 50lb lift, clean sites of hazardous debris, and establish work zones on roadways. Assist craft workers, maintain vegetation at traffic count stations, and service company vehicles. Comprehend safety guidelines while working independently with minimal supervision. Travel out of town weekly and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Maintain low voltage systems and participate in on-site and remote training.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in construction and manual labor
- Strong knowledge of how to work with common power tools (drills, mixers, blowers, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel in-state and out-of-state on a weekly basis
- Individuals must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to work outdoors for long periods of time in fluctuating weather conditions
- Basic working knowledge of computers and mobile devices
- Possess strong knowledge of low voltage systems (advantageous)
- Display attention to detail
