Job Summary
Support the installation and removal of aboveground and underground tanks and piping systems across New Brunswick. Perform site improvements at gas stations, including concrete repairs, tank pad upgrades, and island maintenance such as replacing manhole grade rings and spill containers. Install, service, and repair petroleum handling equipment while operating construction tools like quick-cut saws and jackhammers safely. Collaborate with Project Managers to plan and execute site repairs, ensuring all work complies with regulatory standards for petroleum storage tanks. Deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate a proactive attitude toward learning new skills. Requires a high school diploma, three years of construction experience, and a valid Class 5 driver's license. Willingness to travel, work on-call, and perform overtime is essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction-related projects
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to travel, work on-call, and perform overtime as needed
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and deadline-driven environment
- Capable of following direction, working independently, and maintaining a strong focus on safety
- Proficient in the use of construction tools and equipment
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks, including extended shifts and additional hours
- Able to safely lift and carry a minimum of 60 lbs
