Job Summary
Perform construction management and oversight of municipal infrastructure projects in the Tampa area, including field staking, general inspection, and materials testing. Prepare design reports, specifications, and permit applications while conducting quantity measurements, record keeping, and contractor pay estimate reviews. Produce construction plans using a CADD workstation and Civil3D, interpret drawings to ensure conformance with contracts, and collaborate with design teams to address project challenges. Maintain client and subcontractor relations during field investigations and research design standards and code requirements. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to walk uneven terrain and lift 50 lbs, and experience in sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and roadway construction.
Required Qualifications
- Strong written/verbal communications skills and the ability to operate independently.
- An understanding of municipal infrastructure construction management, including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, bridge, and roadway construction experience.
- In-depth understanding of the construction industry.
- Ability to walk over uneven terrain and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in civil engineering technology or construction management.
- CTQP certifications
- Experience in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Staking/survey experience.
